Passed it with only 1 MP.

Here's what I did.

Study Materials (reading aka 40% of my time). I also got PDF version of some of these for my iphone during my commute.  Commute is a GREAT time to study if you take the train.  Use Evernote to organize them.

Took 2.5 months at 1-1.5 hours a day.  Sundays off.

-Rita = Read 3 times.  Highlighted and highlighted it.

           ~ I made a 1 pg front/back guide of things I didn't remember easily to use for last cram week 

            ~ I know cram week is not reccommended but I focused it on my easy to forget areas. i.e.-ITTO

- Skimmed PMBOK once

- Read Head First PMP once (did some of the practice questions)

- Whenever one of the readings topic didn't make sense, I googled the crap out of it.

EXAM Practice Questions:  (60% of my time)

(I probably did better than some people because I did more practice exams than others I've heard.)

-Since I take the train I download PMP apps for my iphone!  

     ~ PMP Prep Exam, (Best app and 200 q's only cost 3 bucks) PMP Formula app, (free) Pass PMP (free and a few bucks for extra questions).  I took all the exams they had available on these apps

     ~ I downloaded a pdf version of 1000's from PMP Practice Makes Perffect, 1000 questions 

                ~Got it for like 15 bucks online

Downloaded free exams from http://www.examcollection.com/PMI-001.html since I have that exam software.  

All in all, I didn't pay much if anything like others I heard for extra study material/exams.  Rita book was paid for by my work so all in all I spent no more than 50 bucks. Not too bad.  

Other materials used.  I downloaded a couple ITTO pdf's, formula card pdfs, and put them in individual evernote note's. I made individual notes on other main areas like hr/mgt theory's and practice exam follow ups.  That way I could study from anywhere and would revisit my weak spots often.
