PMP Experiences vs Confidentiality
Submitted by philzs on Tue, 11/25/2014 - 13:21
Hi there,
I want to apply for the PMP, but I have a concern.
I am working in an IT consultant firm where I am a project Manager. I have many projects to manage for differents customers.
I feel that my organization doesn't want to give all contact and customers list to PMI.
What should I do ?
Give the customer name but Give my Supervisor Contact information for all project ?

You do not have to mention
You do not have to mention anything confidential and is not allowed by your organization, even PMI do not expect you to do the same. As long as the mentioned project experience is genuiene do not hesitate.
Please write a name to your project and need to describe role you played and number of hours spent while Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Closing of each project, please put your supervisor or manager name who is aware and can validate your experience in case of Audit.

PMI does not care about your
PMI does not care about your contact list. 10% applications get audited. Basically need a signed document stating from a witness that you did in fact project management these events. Video on application PMP
