PMP Exam Prep

Hello Team,

I am planning to take my exam by end of December, I have read PMBOK, I would say thus far I am aware of 40% of what is been addressed in PMBOK. I need help on next phase on how to prepare etc. Any suggestions are welcome.

Dear Admin,

Is the time duration enough for me to take exam? In my mock up I am just scoring around 40%, so any suggestion on study patten would be of great help.

Thanks

Vidya

In my experience the initial jump in knowledge is easy its after that when ever extra % score needs a lot more effort. Reading several posts i have noticed its not just PMBOK but applying it(you need to know how to answer tricky questions).  SOme people just get it with least efforts while for some it takes days.

There is no one formula fits all you have to be the best judge of your own study plan. Some ppl prefer memorizing while others can answer conceptually do whatever works for you. I am appearing in a few days and i am only in 68-70%. Safest is to get around 80-85% thats when you know you will crack PMP

Hi Vidya,

There is a huge variation in the time duration , but from my personal experience I would want to put a number, which is 180 hours. Check how many hours you have put till now. If you are close to 150+ hours, you will start getting 70% and above in mock tests and then you know you are ready for the exam
