I'm glad that inform you that i'm PMP Certified now. HUGE thanks to PMZilla for all the priceless advises and meaningful discussions. Got proficient in all domains except for initiating where i got MP.

Here's my LL's

Start Mid March and read thro' Rita Mulcahy PMP prep book cover to cover and gave all teh test at end of chapter. (note: Pls. keep an excel sheet of what answers u got wrong.. hugely useful at the end).

Read PMBoK and it now made a lot of sense after going thro' Rita's book. (read it twice) .

Read Rita again to strengthen my foundation.

Searched around and did tons of Mock test - Simplilearn, pmpforsure ( all 4 ) , edwel, headfirst,

Day b4 Exam day: July 4th being holiday (US) just skimmed thro' the notes.. didn't do too much of reading.. By now, i had Page 43 by heart and could reproduce it easily.

Advice : Take all the input/tool/output for all the knowledge area ( will be close to 12 pages) and then try to make logical sense out of it.. Go thro' the pages when ever u get free time (even when u r bored) .. That way u can relate to why a particular doc is a input or why a particular technique is used..

Exam day : Went to work as usual and didn't plan to do too much.. Exam scheduled for 5 pm.. Left work at 4 pm and drove to test and just wrote down the page 43 and critical formula's .

TRUST ME - Once u have done a good reading on Rita & PmBOK and analyzed why these ITTO pages like i mentioned, u have nothing to worry about..  It took me 3.5 hours to finish the test. Didn't find anythign too complicated.. forumla questions were easy.. Most of topics straight out of PmBok.
