PMP certification without completing an accredited course / bootcamp

Hi

 

I'm looking at doing the pmp certification soon. I've completed a few certifications at this level in the past few years so, while I expect it to be a challenge, I don't think I need to waste time and money on a 4 or 5 day course.

Is an accredited course part of the certification process, or can you self-study and sit the exam?

I also recommend pm prepcast.I have used it and it's been really helpful not only as accredited course to get your 35 contact hours, but also serves as a perfect self-study material through out exam preparations. youu my read my experience at below
