could someone share the breakdown of the % of questions covered in the PMP exam by Process group/Knowledge area..

Even though those numbers are stated in Ritas Exam Prep, you have to watch out.

Oliver Lehman mentioned in a Xing discussion that PMI does not ask the questions isolated to the Process Groups; they rather focus on "tasks" of project management.

He strongly suggests (and as I have cleared the exam only this week, I agree with him) to focus on the content of the "PMI Examination Content Outline" which is available for free download here: http://www.pmi.org/en/Certification/Project-Management-Professional-PMP/...

This is a very valuable resource, as it does not only show a detailed description of what PMI expects during each task, but also which knowledge and skills are needed to achieve them.
