PMP on 18.02.2010

Hi All,I have cleared PMP on 18.02.2010 in first attempt. Proficient in planning, execution, M&c.and moderate proficient in initiation and closing.Admin, cplusplus thanks. chandra thanks for advise to not read between the lines. Thanks to 1 and all. Will post in detail soon.

Congrats !!! Waiting to hear your LL.

Hi Team,LL is very much similar to postings that have passed PMP in this couple of months.PMBOK - 3 timesRita - 2 timesAndy Crowe - 1 timeUnfortunately my sequence was wrong for preparation.I came across Andy Crowe after Rita. It would have been otherwise.I am advocate for reading Andy (will help you to pass) first then Rita (will help you to score).Of course PMBOK 4th edition (will help you understand PMIsm) one should read before reading any book.  Question paper in Andy crowe book is too good and very near to actual one.In exam I came across 1 question (I can’t disclose here) which I read more than 5 times but I couldn’t figure out what is asked. Don’t lose marks for numerical questions. Andy Crowe is best for it.

try to put extra efforts on initiation and closing. four process in this will have @ 8 Qs each. more than any process group. i made mistake of not practicing more Qs on professional / ethics - i got moderate proficient. please practice Qs for this with equal efforts and same weightage as other process.

What were the practise exams used? and how you rate them
