PMP® exam is changing in 2015

Is it true that PMP course contain is going to change after november 1. Does it mean if I want to give exam after Nov 2015 then I have to go with new syllabus?

Please someone let me understand what are changes coming after Nov1,2015.

Yes Tanvir,

An accomplished Role Delineation Study (RDS) has updated description of the project management professional role. The study included the survey of PMP credentials holders to certify updates to domains, tasks, knowledge, and skills. The RDS captures the outlook of project management practitioners from all organizations and it performs all the duties regarding PMP exam and certifies its validity.
 
How the PMP is altered?
 
The five domains for the PMP exam remains same. In spite of that the tasks with each domain have been changed. The prevailing exam will be active till 1 November 2015, after November 1 only the new pattern of exam will be conducted.

Note: November 1, 2015 is the last date to test under prevailing version of PMP.

Thanks for the update Poonam. So its mean PMBOK version will not change right? only the weightage  will change. So those who are going to sit after Nov,2015 can also use the same PMBOK5.

Please correct me.
