PMI membership

While applying for PMP or more specific PMI membership , when you submit your application, do you have to complete your 35 hrs project management education first , submit proof along with your application and once it is approved you can appear for the exam?

or

You can submit your application first and once it is approved after that you can complete your 35 hrs education and then take exam?

Hi,

I would recommend you to keep ready with your 35 hrs of education proof prior to apply because it is mandatory.  If you get audited you will be for sure in trouble.
