Submitted by BaglanTiger on Sat, 08/16/2008 - 02:52
Folks,
Any idea when is the 4th edition of PMBOK is due for official release?
And after the official release, how long does it take to reflect in PMP exam ?

I am also trying to find
I am also trying to find out. Hope experts here can give some clues.
If I reschedule exam to say december or november, and the 4th ed is released, but I studied 3rd ed, what shall I do?
Will we need to take a course based on 4th edition?
I like to confirm that most things should remain unchanged but hope that the 'delta' can be published separately somewhere so that its easier for those who read the 3rd ed.
How can we know ?
thanks in advance.

I called the PMI to ask the same question
I called PMI about the same question since I am taking my test in Dec 08. As per them, PMBOK will release by the end or this year (08) or the beginning of next year (09). And the exam will not change untill late next year (probably Oct-Nov 09). They will send out notices, in way advance (6 months or so), to all the PMI members.
Hope this helps!
