answer and reasons
historical information is should be the answer because its where some of the pm company stored information of the previous projects the embark on.This historical information help me as a person when i was newly recruited with little knowlegde of project management.I source out information on how the previous project was handle and the steps the previous project manager follow during the processes.
STAKEHOLDER ANALYSIS does not give you any hints neither configuration management.

Thanks
Thanks for the replies..
I was sliding towards stakeholder analysis assuming that its better to talk to the stakeholders to understand the whole project. Now I understand that this process is only identifying the level of influence/power they will or want to hold on the project.
Appreciate the time..
