I passed my PMP today. I owe it to this group to post my LLs. I started studying late last year. I read PMBOK and Rita (both twice). Did over 3000 questions. Most free tests and also bought pm-exam-simulator. I scored anywhere from 68% to 82% in all tests (free and paid).

The real test was medium-hard difficulty level. I think I saw about 10-15 ITTO questions, at least 5 questions on team forming-norming...model, about 5-8 chain method questions. 1 really hard question that took me about 10 minutes. I have a feeling it was one of the 25 pre-test question but who knows.  A lot of direct question. I was expecting a lot of lengthy questions but there were may be 8-10 big ones. About 3-4 questions that made no sense to me so I jut randomly marked what I thought was correct. Over all, it was tough. I marked about 30 questions to review and wrote 5 on my scrap sheet as "must review". I had 30 minutes for review. I reviewed the 5 on my sheet and I still had 22 minutes remaining when I hit the end exam. I had no energy to review the rest of the marked questions. I wasn't sure I was going  to pass. 3 mintutes later I was very happy!!

About the testing center- they did not let me take water, or my lozenges (I have sore throat) or anytthing. All I had was the key to my locker. The ear plugs they provided were the big over the head ones that made my ears hurt as I also wear prescription glasses. They did my xray/wand check everytime I took a break which was such a waste of time.  I was allowed to keep my water bottle and a snack outside the locker since I could not access the locker during the test. I had to  take the key to the restroom from the front desk which I always remembered after reaching the door so that wasted some ti,e. 

My advise - read PMBOK and Rita a few times. Do as many (quality) questions as you can. I think the questions helped a lot. I also took 5 mock tests that helped with my nerves and endurance.
