Passed today Nov 11, First attempt - 4Ps 1 MP

Hi All:

 

Glad to let you all know that I have passed PMP today with 4 Ps and 1 MP (in closing). Thanks to PMZilla. I owe a LL for this beautiful forum.. I couldn't get enough of this forum. I used to ready every LL, try to understand the game plans, gathered thoughts on the exam.

I scheduled my exam for Oct 29th and started preparing in mid september. Due to some personal constraints, I had to reschedule it for today. I followed PMBOK and HeadFirst religiously. I have referred Rita for end-of-the-chapter questions, Rita process chart, HR motivational theories, Contract types. I lstened to PMPrepcast videos on commute to work in my blackberry. My practice exam score were in between 68% to 80%. 

Regarding the exam, I felt I was stressed too much during the preparation. But the questions were straight forward compared to the mock exams. I finished my exam in 2.5 hours. Reviewed for another30- 40 min. Clicked End button. Took the survey and got the result.

I would feel honored to answer any question you have on my over all experience.

Congratulations. Can you please tell us the mock tests you took? How are Rita's end-of-chapter questions compared to the test?

 Thank you!! I have taken only free mock tests. PMStudy, OliverLehmann 175, 75 questions, PMPForSure and HeadFirst. I was scoring above 76% in all mock exams except pmpforsure. (68%). I wouldn't go with the score ranges though. I was looking at the mock exams to get a feel of real exam.. such as, my ability to keep my mind alert for 4 hours and facing different type of questions.

I found some questions in Rita to be more difficult than the real exam while some are other way round. All in all, Rita's questions helped me review chapter by chapter. I wish you good luck.
