Passed today, long but worth it :)

I wanted to share since this forum has been so helpful.

Resources used - Andy Crowe - how to pass on the first try, printed the PMBOK

PMPerfect practice tests - cost $59 and well worth it, is has over a 1000 questions and it put together very well and tells where you need work.

Free tests - I see a lot of posts on the free tests, I stopped using them because they were discouraging and when I did the research there were quite a bit where their answers were wrong. Good for getting the concepts, but spend money to get quality.

Study notes - very helpful, but again validate, I saw errors in some folks notes

Best Advice - write down the formulas in the 15 minute tutorial, you may think you know them but there are quite a few questions where they came in handy

Congratulations and I agree, most free tests are just junk and waste of money. So take only the ones which are recommended, You will find many posts here where people thought they were prepared for the exam due to their scores in "some" mock tests and then failed in real exam.

Congrats! How long did you study? Did you read Andy Crowe and PMBOK just once?

Took about 3 months to study, and I read thru them both a couple times. Chapter 14 was very helpful to read right before the exam.  I was a little worried because everyone talks about Rita, but Andy's book was just fine.  I think the PMPerfect exam package took me over the top.

Everyone posts how they get 80% on the exam packages, I started with mid 60% on exams until I started getting a better understanding of the material.

Did not score well on a few of the free tests, then I realized they were trying to make it tough so you would pay for their paid exams.

Congratulation for your grand success to become a pmp. I am planning to  schedule my exam on January.

I have a humble request, my mail id is-focus781@gmail.comAs you have told pmperfect was very helpful to you, I request you if you can share ur u/n and password for pmperfect simulated exams.

Thanks in advance

Monoj - Interesting that you ask for the login, I guess you have not taken any of the practice tests yet to know the answer to that one yet.  You need to sign up on your own.
