Passed PMP, Quite Easy - 6/14/12
I passed my PMP with all Basic and 1 Below in Closing. Overall, I found the test to be exceptionally easy however, I did study for several hours a days for about 3 weeks (exception of 5 days vaca and no weekends). I prepared for about 3 weeks, I would love to post all the books that I read but honestly, I didn't read a single one. I did take several multple day classes including, How to Document and Gather Requirements, IT Project Management, Business Process Modeling and Business Analyst. Other than my course work, I studied all the test recommended within this forum. I took over a 1,000 questions and I recommend doing the same thing. I didn't memorize the ITTO and would have found that useless as it seemed there were rarely any questions on it and those that were seemed to be common sense. Definitions were a key element to the exam. If you know what documents and processes are then you are already on top. I can not stress that enough. I had a few calculation questions but not nearly as many as I had prepared for.
