Passed PMP First Attempt :-)

I have passed PMP and pmzilla LL forum was really help. So this is my contribution and hope it helps aspirants :-)

Study Material:-

PMBOK 4th Edition

Rita Mulcahy

Went through PMBOK atleast 4 times. During my first pass through PMBOK I also read Rita Mulcahy side-by-side, as it was really easy to understand the things. Rita is a nice book and provides you great insight, but I went through this just once. In the examination you are tested on PMBOK only :-) Tips and Tricks in Rita were really usefull at times during examination.

Exam Preparation:-

www.effectivepmc.com --> 3 free questions everyday are great and closest to the real exam and I followed it for nearly 1 Month.

www.pmstudy.com --> The practice exams would help you get ready sitting for 4 hours at a stretch.

www.pmtarget.com --> The questions on this site were good

How is exam like:

1- Few direct ITTO question (3-4)

2- Few direct questions on formulae

3- Lots of scenario based questions related to Quality and procurement tools and techniques

Summary:

My suggestion to all would be to be thorough with all the process groups/knowledge areas and also be thorough with all the documents and what those documents have as you can expect each question with 2 correct answers and its BIT HARD finding the BEST answer.

Congrats !!!.  In your LL you have written "be thorough with all the documents and what those documents have as you can expect each question with 2 correct answers and its BIT HARD finding the BEST answer"

Please can you elabroate that
