Passed PMP with 4 Ps

 Dear all,

I am a silent member of this group. However, I follow it very well and gained lot of knowledge from PMzilla.. I passed PMP with 4 Ps.So, Thanks to all active members to posts and lesson learned tips.

Well, here is summary of my experience with PMP:

Duration :

Apx. 2 month of prepration.. Daily around 2 Hrs and 4-5 Hrs on weekends.

Books:

Head First PMP for clarifying the concepts

PMBOK - Line to Line read and tried to understand each concept.

Rita Mulcahy for specific chapters -  HR, Quality, Risk and Procurement chapters..

YouTube Videos - About CPM/Cost Mgmt/ PTA and Quality. ( easy to understand basic concepts)

Practice exams:

PMStudy (Paid) - Good stuff.. Must buy 4 exam set. Check and understand (understand) all the failed questions. Use PMBOK for reference.

examcentral tests (Free) : These are good but easy. So, try these to check initial knowledge.

Exam experience :

Exam was good and have questions from all the chapters.. So, understand each and every concept of PMBOK. Don't just read it....

If you understand each tool/technique/ concepts then its very easy to pass PMP.

Good luck guys....
