I passed PMP on 04/23 in my first attempt.
I started my preparation in February first week.

Before reading PMBOK, I have gone through the skill port e-learning training aligned with PMBOK 4th edition.( I used this to complete 35 hours training). It helped me to understand concepts thoroughly.

I have read  PMBOK 3-4 times.
I have read RITA once. ( I can say only procurment managment,Integration managment I read from RITA )

I did number of free Tests.

1. PmStudy
2. HeadFirst
3. Oliver
4. Exam central

I have never bothered about scores on the Mock exmas.
Even while Taking the exam I used to open PMBOK and read particular concept if I am not clear among choices.I read explanations for situation based questions.I have managed to remember ITTO.

Key to my success is understanding and remembering concepts of PMBOK.
