Hi,

because I read many Lessons Learned in this forum as a silent listener I would like to tell you that I passed PMP on 19^th of June with 4 Ps and 1 MP.

My Lessons Learned:

• For preparation I used "PMP Exam Prep" from Rita Mucahy and the PMBOK. Additional books are not necessary from my point of view.

• Mathematical questions were easy (about 15 questions), the networks were a little bit tricky but no problem. For preparing mathematical questions try this link: http://www.scribd.com/doc/28680971/101-PMP-Sample-Questions-for-the-PMP-Exam. Not all questions are really relevant for the exam but it shows whether you are prepared for the mathematical questions.

• From my point of view the mock tests from pmstudy are closest to the real exam (also mentioned many times in this forum). I bought all four pmstudy-tests (the first one is free). If you score good in the pmstudy-tests then the real exam will be no problem for you.

•  I finished the following mock tests (additionally to the chapter end tests in “PMP Exam Prep” from Rita):

• The time was really no issue during the exam. I took a 10 minutes-break after 160 Questions because I still had 2 hours and 15 minutes to go. After this break I finalized the exam, read again all marked questions [~30) and corrected about 5 out of them. I finished the exam 40 minutes before the real end because I was sure that additional changes will not make it better.

• There were no ethical questions at all.

• I memorized all ITTOs. This is really NOT necessary as many other people already mentioned but it was a very good basis for me to learn the additional details.
