hey all - thought I'd pay back a little by posting some of my experiences on here - i'll chck back over the next couple of days and answer any specifc questions...cheers

 - passed today with 1 poor and the rest 'mostly proficient" or whatever it is..

 - had brutal stomach flu - test took me 3:50, practice exams were about 2.5 hours, mostly because I was sick and marked a lot of questions.

 - Difficulty was...medium. not as hard as the Lehmann questions but maybe a tad harder  than the Mulcahy/headfirst stuff. Doing lots of practise exams helps - the PMI test platform was full screen and for some reason felt easier because of this.

 - LOTS of Qs around EAC, CPI, etc - more than i expected. pretty straightforward.

 -  lots of "what to do next" type questions around initiation scenarios.

 - many questions seemed to ask the same thing in different ways.

in terms of studying - I completed Mulchay's online PMP exam prep course didn't open the pmbok once... (sorry, but it is true) did lots of practices exams, but never all 200 questions, mostly 100 or so at a  time. 

I should say though, 13 years as working PM did help a bit.

read over the ITTOs  lots to try and "picture" the flow, but never quite got there. to be honest ( there were about 4/5 "specific itto questions today i think

i used PMzilla, the online version of rita's process game ( google it - it saves u cutting out cards) and that's about it.
