I wanted to say thank you to the PMZilla forum!!  I never posted anything before, I would just visit the site to get insight from others regarding their study preparation and other helpful topics, such as lessons learned.

With prayer and the right self study material, I passed my PMP on 09/02 with 3MP, 1P and 1BP

I will say that the following items really did help with my studies:

Don't waste your money on any PMP Boot Camps... I attended one and spend a great deal of money and it was pointless.  The only positive that I took away from the boot camp was the contact hours needed to apply for the PMP exam.
The instructor read verbatim from a book and not much more, after the boot camp I took the PMP Exam and failed.

I did some research online and came across PMZilla, bought the above mentioned books did a lot of self study, which I learned so much more than that boot camp.

So my advice would be to get get adequate material, such as the books and apps noted above and read, read, read and take notes... writing down the material does help with understanding and retention.
A lot of people say that PMBOK is dry and boring, I must say, that I found it to be very informative and it was only after reading it that I was able to connect some of the topics and develop more of an understanding.
