Passed my exam yesterday

As this group was very helpful for me, I would like to pass along some information about my exam yesterday.

The most crucial thing was the time. Every half an hour / hour I checked if I was still doing ok, means answering more than 50 questions per hour. I marked all the questions with calculations and the ones I could not answer right away. I kept track of how many questions I marked for later. About 30 for the last hour. That was really hard. About 20 questions to calculate: Mainly EVM (not so straight forward), different contract types (e.g. fixed price), schedules. Last questions: I just skim read and answered in seconds without thinking much as time was running out. 7 seconds left, when I sent it off. No time for a break.

I applied for the language help (translation) even though I just studied English materials. The translation was on the same screen above the English question. I was not expecting that. But I found it very helpful. I quickly read the translation then the English version. Helped me a lot!

During the exam I thought I would not pass but continued with my strategy (e.g. calculation afterwards, marking questions etc.) Only with about 20 question I felt like giving the right answer.

I studied the PMBOK twice or three times, did summaries, did a lot of free tests. At the end I found as a PMI member the eReads and the information (book, questions) provided by Scordo (spelling?). That was REALLY helpful. Those questions were alike with the one in the exam. Questions in the exam weren't too long, 2 or 3 liners.

I hope this helps you as well. All the best!
