  • I rescheduled my April exam. (I had a scheduled trip)
  • I took 3 pm study tests and scored 58-65%. i took them w/o any review.
  • I purchased the prepcast from Cornelious. I couldn't finish the videos
  • In May, I read Head First and took some notes. no studying. (some material was starting to make sense even though i was only reading.).
  • I took chapter quizes (andy crowe and head first) mid 70%
  • I rescheduled my June exam (relatives were staying with us for a few weeks)
  • I downloaded pmzilla notes
  • In September, I read highlighted pages from PMBOK. no studying.(all formulas were a huge problem for me at this point)
  • I rescheduled my September exam (I was starting a graduate course on project management at BU)
  • Completed BU graduate course. Tons of work was required for this course. This was VERY helpful (7 weeks long).
  • My final PMP exam was scheduled for 12/30.(last possible date w/o paying again)  By 12/24, I had printed the following: Chowdary notes, PMP Processes (notes I took back in feb/march), ITTO from pmzilla,  and some notes from headfirst.
  • From 12/24 to 12/30 2am, i spent an average of 6 hours per day.

  • 12/29 read chowdary notes (all of them) pmzilla exam 60% (i almost cried)

  • 12/30 1am read chowdary again. took 5 process group quizzes (10 questions each) avg 84%
  • 12/30 7am at the dunkin donuts by the exam site. took 50 question velociteach exam. 84%
  • Passed exam with 1 proficient and the rest average.
  •   ***** This is NOT how i wanted to prepare myself for this, but I had a lot of stuff going on. I'm NOT proud that I had to push myself like this and passed or barely passed probably. This is not how I do things but I really had to take this exam.  I'm sharing my experience becuase I thought the exam was not super easy. i think people really need to study and definetly, take your time.
