overall project risk/Individual project risk

Hello,

i am reading Rita's book to prepare my PMP. In the "Perform qualitative risks Analysis" process, it is said "Qualitative risk analysis" can lead to a number to be used to rank the project in comparison to other projects". The question i had is how to obtain this number from individual risk score ?
Is this number used to rank the project in comparison to the other is the higher score of all risks identified during "Qualitative risk analysis" ?

Yes from overall risk score of the project, you should be able to compare with other projects. Once you have quantified the risk, each project will have a risk exposure and overall risk exposure can be calculated.

All this is done through software algorithms.
