Numerical questions practice
Submitted by trawal on Mon, 05/14/2012 - 16:25
I have noticed from some that many test takers got around 20 numerical Qs in the exam. Do you guys know any source which allows you to practise just numericals?
Thanks

Please do not go by any rule
Please do not go by any rule and just trust the recommended material by someone and go for the PMP exam. What might work for others, may not work for you. On Friday one of my student failed and he said he got around 60 numerical questions and it was his weak points. In short, you never know what questions and what pattern of question you would get in the PMP exam. Questions are selected for you using random algorithm, so even your luck has got some role in PMP success.
About the source – Read all recommended books like Rita, Kim and Andy as they have explained beautifully how to solve various numerical questions. Practice lots of PMP questions available across and you will learn those techniques.

Thanks Saket. I know the rule
Thanks Saket. I know the rule that questions are random but is there any site or source which allows you to take practise tests only on numericals

I am not aware of any exclusive book
I am not aware of any exclusive book just for PMP numerical practices. I generally refer Rita, Andy and Kim books and to me it looks its sufficient from PMP perspective. Mock test providers would give small percentage of such questions.
