difference between activity float and total float for activity

I believe that activity float, activity slack and total float for activity are the same things.
Free float is of course different.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Float can be with respect to
Float can be with respect to an activity or w.r.t Project. But yes you are right all these mean the same.
