clarification on these questions

 Hello all,
Here are some interesting questions I've found after taking an online test; would really appreciate if you could give me your opinion on them

40. You are a project manager on a large technology project and have noticed the project team can't easily find the
right information to make good decisions and there is a lot of confusion about which versions of documents are
the most up-to-date. You are also having a tough time integrating the various processes. As a result you suggest
improvements be made to which of the following?
a. Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
b. Work Breakdown structure (WBS)
c. Configuration management systems
d. Reporting systems
--> correct answer a but I think it's C because there is where all the updated and different versions of the documents are hence all the most updated versions
Then why is A correct over C?

118.The team is working on creating a project team directory. Which process is the team most likely engaged in?
a. Resource planning
b. Organizational planning
c. Staff acquisition
d. Information distribution
--> correct answer C; but I don't understand why; what do you think?

198.What is a Pareto diagram?
a. A plot of results over time
b. A histogram showing frequency of occurrence and category of an identified cause
c. A plot of group average and groups
d. A histogram, frequency of occurrence and range
--> correct answer B but why? A histogram involves a time dimension and the Pareto chart only has the frequencies and the categories; what do you think?
