Confused with referent power
You are the blue-eyed boy of your vice chairman who appreciates the way in which you work in projects. She also consults you during performance appraisals. This helps you in managing interpersonal relationships with your team members, because you have the following power:
Choice 1 Legitimate
Choice 2 Expert
Choice 3 Penalty
Choice 4 Referent
i think it should be 4 whereas one of the popular mock sites say "3"
Also for the following
Question No : 50
Since you know the importance of risk management, you always include it as an agenda item in your weekly status meetings and spend ten minutes discussing the risks. Some of your project team members complain that since none of the risks are actually happening, discussing risk management issues in status meetings is a waste of time. What should you do?
Choice 1 Talk to your team members about the importance of risk management and why the project team needs to be aware of all risks at all points of time.
Choice 2 Agree with your team members and mention to them that henceforth, no more time would be spent on discussing risks in the project status meetings unless required in the future.
Choice 3 Call a meeting with your project sponsor and project management team to discuss potential training requirements for your project team members so that they can appreciate the benefits of risk management.
Choice 4 Escalate to your management that some of your team members do not agree with your risk management practices.
Correct Choice : 2
I think it should be 1 ..they said
There is no need to spend a fixed amount of time in all the status meetings to discuss risk management issues.
Option 1: This states that the team should be aware of `all` risks at `all` times. This may not be possible because some risks are not identified or may be prioritized lower (hence, place them in a watchlist).

Confused with referent power
Q1 - correct ans. is choice 3. The team is afraid that they may be penalised if they do not behave properly with you.
Q2 - correct ans. is choice 1. The most thing to do in all project meetings is to discuss risk. Risk might not have occurred in the past but can occur anytime. It is extremely imp. to review risks in all meetings.

Your second question is brilliant
I would not comment on the first one as other people has already confirmed and honestly it’s a direct and simple question.
Your second question is brilliant; it also made me think couple of times. Initially I even thought choice-1 should be the right choice like others, but reading the question very carefully I realize that it should be choice 2.
I see the fault of project manager plan, why is he allocating fix 10 minutes to discuss same risk again and again? Say, you are into software project and you have identified that there is a power issue at the remote site where deployment of the code will happen. You know that this activity will happen say after 6 months. So the point is, why do you need to keep discussing this risk in all status meeting now? Risk need to be discussed when discussion has value in it and that’s what choice 2 says. Choice -2 does not say don’t talk on risk, all it says is discuss as per the relevance of risk.
Choice -1 is pre-mature because of this line i.e. “project team needs to be aware of all risks at all points of time”.
