PMP exam pattern

Dear Friends

Have few questions and hope I would get them answered here... I took PMP last year in Aug 2011 and my first attempt was bit discouraging... and didnt take the exam and was also bit hesitant to open any of the PMP sites.. Somehow I felt that I shud give a second attempt.

1. Is there anything got changed in exam pattern from Aug 2011

2  I have studied PMBOK 4th edition.. PMI site shows it is still 4th edition... Is there anything got changed or it still the same

Would really help if someone could ans my questions.

PMBOK v 4 and other books based on it remains the same for the current PMP exam pattern. PMI has removed direct questions from “Ethics and Professional Conduct” and clubbed such question with other 5 process group. There is no other changes. Please plan and prepare well. For PMP aspirants, honestly nothing has changed.


Make sure you take the exam by mid next year i.e. around August 2013, as we might see new exam changes w.r.t PMBOK v 5.
