Hi All,

I have attained the PMP certifcation on 21st August, 2012. Thanks to PMZilla for playing a motivators role in my success.

Like many i too was a silent participant at pmzilla. During my preparation whenver i used to be low on confidence i used to read the success stories quoted here.

My Journey:

•  attended PMP training for collecting the required PDU's in april.


• started preparation from May,2012.


• took 3.5 months of dedicated preparation time.


• started with PMBOK one reading


• Read Rita mulcahy once.


• Repeated PMBOK and Rita Mulcahy one chapter each , completing all the chapters again.


• Wrote down all the ITTO's in my own handwriting into a notepad.


• Kept referring them daily at least once.


• Kept taking practise exams in small sets of 25/50 questions in a day till July 15th.


• One last full length go through of PMBOK again.


• Took practise exams from pmstudy.com in August.


• Identified the gaps and revisited the PMBOK.


• Last one week focussed more on my weaknesses and tried to iron them going through pmbok.


• took free practise exams from couple of other sites as well like headfirst, Oliver Lehman ( 75 &175 questions), simplilearn etc...


• regularly visited pmzilla.
