Contradictory or an obvious mistake in PMBOK 4E p190

On P 190, Six Sigma and other Quality approaches (methodologies) are shown as non proprietary. where infact these all are petented propritaries in real world.

In PMBOK on P199, SixSigma is shown again as proprietary type methodology.

What is your comments.

Pawar Ji – why are you finding mistakes in PMBOK? PMBOK has millions of good information why not use those?


In reality, every good source has some mistakes, or few poorly worded confusing statements. Be a positive person here i.e. you can easily understand the correct information its trying to convince you.

Choice B) Who cares
Choice C) May be yes/no
Choice D) Ask Pawar Ji
