Question regarding project document updates, EEF,OPA, EEF updates, OPA updates and project management plan updates

Hi all,

I have a question reg the following concepts-

Project mgt plan updates

Project document updates

EEF, OPA inputs

EEF Updates

OPA updates

While I do understand what these concepts mean and there are a ton of resources to explain them, is there a place for ITTOs where I can find explanations to what are the components of the EEF,OPA elements that are inputs to each process, what comprises the EEF/OPA updates for a particular process and not simply listing which are the processes in which they are included/updated.

I had the same question for project mgt plan updates and project document updates.

I could not find any resource that comprehensively explains the above concepts in a one stop place.

Any ideas?

Hi

Its good that you are drilling down to the root of the concept and it would certainly help not just answering the exam questions but also would set a good mental foundation for PMP study. EEF and OPA are the pillars and acts acts as an vital input. By and large, whenever PM is in doubt OPA acts as the best reference point (expect some questions on this). 

Incase if you have finished reading the PMBOK framework chapters, then I would advice to make list of item falls under EEF and OPA as per your understanding and experience. Have a look at below link if not visited earlier,
