Preparing for exam

Hi,

Am preparing for my PMP exam after 30 days from today and i need some advice.

I finished reading the HeadFirst (1 time ) and PmBok (1 time ) also read some chapters from Rita.

solved chapters Q? in headfirst and my result is within the 65 % to 70 %

also i solved the rita fast track 7 knowledge areas questions ( almost bet. 65 to 70 % )yet when i try to answer a pmp exam in fast track i failed with 60 % (twice )

ii don't know what should i do now? should i read pmbok again or should i practice more exam in fast track or what ?

please advice as am running out of time

Thank you in advance

Hi

Looks like you will need more preparation but at the same I would say you are on the right course, so do not loose the traction. Considering exam is 30 days away try to accelerate further. Do not rush for mock exams. Read my blog post on when to take first mock exam?

Suggested Actions

1. Identify knowledge areas which you are not feeling confident, revisit those often

2. Read PMBOK and Rita minimum one more time, any further reading would be further beneficial

3. Review ITTO's which you find diffcuilt to understand, probably ITTO's could be the place where you are scoring low

4. pmzilla has excellent collection of PMP material. See Rajesh Nair notes. Take pmzilla exams when you are fully geared up.

Your scores are average, please take some more practice tests during this time and you should score 70% in most tests. Head first is easy , so dont rely on that. Rita is better in comparison. Check LL on this website to see what tests people are taking.

i will thank you
