Practice Tests for Backward and Forward Pass, EVM

Dear all,

If i may share some LL's from my 1st attempt :

I missed some of the followings, which is my LL and thus wanted to share it with all of you.

Before the exam:

#1: Never underestimate the 4hr exam, need to build the endurance with practice tests as much as possible.
#2: Dont just read ITTO's, try and practice ITTO's as Rita suggests visualizing how it happens in real world.
#3: Give ample time to read Rita's Sixth edition (1st time - read it thoroughly)
#4: Take an assessment (200 questions) - which will help u identify the gaps.
#5: Study the gaps and go after the answers, read it well.
#6: Revise Rita's 6th edition - 2nd and 3rd time - skimmed through the chapters.
#7: Follow-up with practice tests as much as possible (1000+ questions atleast)
#8: Refer to glossary (MUST) a day before the exam.
#9: To be safe - you MUST score "80-85" in practice tests - I tried PMStudy, but my scores were approx 70-75%, Oliver - 60% (75 questions), didnt take much practice tests - which was the primary reason i got exhausted during the exam!!

During the exam:

DO's:
* Relax yourself a day before the exam.
* Plan to start early during the day of the exam - avoid last minute rush.
* During the exam - make a note of the second best answer for the q's you mark for review later
* In 1st 15mins - put down the formulates (key formulaes).

DON'T:
* DON'T assume you'll be able to answer all the questions from the set "go".
* DON'T be suprised if u see MOST difficult one coming up 1st.
* DON'T give up if you've not had a good start, you always can finish up with well.

All the best!

Kris

 Kris,

Thanks for  great suggestions, some of them were unique like noting down second best answer. I find you brave and "BIG" hearted. Good Luck in your second attempt.

One quick question: Do you think glossary can be read once everyday ? Also how do you find quality of PMStudy questions ?

You may not need to read it daily as its fairly straightforward, even if u start a week prior to the exam - it should suffice, unlike the formulaes and process chart which may require frequent revisions.

In personal opinion - PMstudy free tests and Test Set 2 was okay, i wud rate it 6/10, not sure of other question sets - language was very simple, had good maths q's and ITTO, I will most likely go for pmzilla test, liked the sample one.

Good luck!
