 Dear PMP Experts:

My Passport has been expired and need months to renew. Can I apply & seat for exam without passport?

Thanks & BR/

Don’t worry dear!

Fortunately Passport is not prerequisite for PMP exam and neither getting a Passport requires a PMP…..Jokes apart now!

It depends on the country you live in as such photo identification are country specific. I stay in India and here we have many valid photo identity proofs like Passport, Voters Card, Pan Card, Driving License, Company ID Card, Ration card etc

To apply for PMP exam you don’t need any identity proof, but to sit for exam in Prometric you need to show any 2 valid photo identity proof for your identification. If I am from India, I can take any 2 from these lists provided my last name and first name (surname, first name) is same as per PMP application.

Check with the Prometric in your country, what all photo ID proof they accept.
