I cleared the PMP today in the first attempt. I really prepared hard and I was very happy to see the results. I passed with  'Proficient' in all process groups.

I want to share my experience with the aspirant exam takers

Preparation

     6 weeks intensive preparation at least 3 hours every day and 6+ hours during week ends

Preparation materials

2. Rita Examp prep 6ht edition 2 times

Practice Tests

      1) Oliver Lehmann 175 Test 76 %

      2) HeadFirst 86%

      3) Rita Fasttrack 6 Exam1 (76%)

      4) Rita Fasttrack 6 Exam2 (82%)

      5) Rita Fastrack 6  Test for all knowledge Areas  84%+

I used primarily PMBOK and Rita's 6th edition for the preparation. I created mind maps for all the process groups and it helped when I was revising the chapters. I did not memorize the ITTOs. Understanding the process and logically seeing where the input out sources and outputs send process helped me.

About the Exam

The exam questions where less wordier than the Rita's Fastrack questions. I used  full 4 hours of the exam. Marked several questions and visited them back after completion the 200 questions. I took longer in  real exam  than I too for the   Head first and Rita's exam.  I was nervous and that slowed my thinking and answering speed a lot. 90% of the questions were situational and there were 7+ questions on the ITTOs. 

There were less than 7 math related questions. I go only 1 ethics question.

If you understand PNBOK and all the terminology you can answer most of the questions. If you expose your self to several practice questions you will get more comfortable with situational questions. I took all  the tests in the  Rita's Fastrack  and several question banks. I probably did some  2500+ questions in total. That gave me confidence  to take the final exam.
