A project is closed when the:


A) Client accepts the product


B) Lessons learned are completed


C) Archives are completed


D) Contract is finished


My answer is C and so is the correct answer. However, Rita P. 131 says that  Index and archiving occurs first and lessons learned are updated after that


Pls clarify. Thanks

1. Confirm work is done to requirements
2. Complete procurement closure
3. Gain formal acceptance of the product
4. Complete final performance reporting
5. Index and archive records
6. Update lessons learned knowledge base
7. Hand-off completed product
8. Release resources

Even I would go with C, lessons leard needs to done before archiving happens because lessons learnt
document should also be part of the archiving process right?

I agree. Logically it should be C. The correct answer is also C but the process flow chart explains the other way around. Does anyone else have any explanation for this?

I would also go with C because archiving is the last thing done in Closing a project, then resources are released and that particular project is done with you!
