Random Questions 7

Q7 Question : In your last project status meeting, you had 15 team members. The meeting was very disorderly - there were too many sidebar conversations and arguments. As a result, you acheived nothing substantial from the meeting. In order to better regulate the meeting next time, you should:

1. Decrease the number of people in one meeting

2. Publish a meeting agenda

3. Ensure that you control the channels of communication

4. Give incentives to team members for conforming to desired norms of the meeting

This is a very tricky question I doubt being asked in the exam but I am sure its worth gicing a try.

Hi Mr Muddassar:

I feel the best choice is to publish an agenda for the meeting before it commences. The other three, I found, extraneous.

Am I right in my answer?

Regards!

I agree. I think the best answer is the2nd one.

The best practice before meeting is publish agenda and after that is MOM.

Am I right?

1. Decrease the number of people in one meeting -  Can be done but not the right thing here

2. Publish a meeting agenda - Seems right.

3. Ensure that you control the channels of communication - Vague

4. Give incentives to team members for conforming to desired norms of the meeting - will not work
