Rasool, If you want to
Rasool,
If you want to take the PMP exam, then you have to fulfil some minimum requirements. If you have a Bachelors degree: 4,500 hours of project management and 35 hour of training in PM. If you don't have a bachelors , it:s: 7,500 hours of project management and 35 hours of training in PM. But these are just the basics.
My recommendation to you: Read the PMP Credentials handbook:
The PMI has published a Credentials Handbook, which you can find at the following URL: http://www.pmi.org/PDF/PDC_PMPHandbook.pdf.
The Credentials Handbook explains everything that you want to know
about the process of taking the PMP® exam and becoming PMP® certified.
It discusses the following topics and questions:
project management experience do I need? What are these 35 contact hour
all about?
is the format of the exam? How much does it cost? How do I get my
score? What about re-examinations? Can people with handicaps take the
exam?
the exam: How do I keep my certification active? What is the
professional conduct, that I have to follow? Can I tell others, what
the exam was like?
Reading this handbook takes about 20 minutes and it should be the
FIRST 20 minutes on your journey to becoming a certified PMP®. It will
answer most of your questions about the procedures of applying and
taking the exam.
