1. Lag - Waiting time for cement to cure would be the lag time before the next activity can start.. Now assuming that a construction is completing in 1 year but it will be 13 months before the external painting of the building would start, 1 month would be the free float for the construction to complete
2. Verify scope is like UAT, you give deliverables to customer for approval. QC is like your internal testing that you do before you give the code to customer for UAT or BAT.
