Question on experience verification

I have a Master degree (international) and 5 yrs experience (in USA) and I am planning to get PMP certification.

For 3 yrs I worked at a mid size organization, there were no formal Projects as such. In the PMP application form, for "Project Role" I could use "Other" and in the "Process Groups" I can use the "Executing the Project". Do those hours qualify toward my required 4500 hrs for PMP?

One other question. At that job, I was subject to harassment (complained to HR but no action) and ultimately had to resign, so I don't think I can use any reference there. Would that be a bar on my using that experience?

Thanks for your advice.

If you have spent 4500 hours on project management related activity you can use that experience. You will need to get letter from that company in case you are audited. Try to get the letter of experience which confirms your time spent on project management related work, so you can keep it for future use.
