Preparing for PMP - help!

I have been studying for PMP for two months now. I am using Rita's PMP exam prep and Andy Crowe's How to Pass on your First Try as well as the PMBOK as supplementary material. I have moderate project management skills. However, with some of the exams I have been taking online such as Oliver Hamm's 75 Questions i still cannot seem to score above a 55%.

May someone help me in knowing where I am going wrong?

Oliver questions is not the only benchmark, please try other free mock tests . you will improve your score with each mock tests

thank you for your reply! i am currently using pm-exam-simulator and scoring 75% and above - not sure if thats a good benchmark ? I'm afraid of not knowing which mocks are good and which may be misleading before the test day

Hello archs,

I would like to have some more info to comment. How many are u a practicing project manager ? If you do not mind, pl mention domain too. PMP exam is created keeping your real-world project experience in mind as you will be find many questions are experiential. My friend you have picked up oliver, which normally participants pick towards the end of their preparation as the level of questions are higher than actual PMP. You may refer to Andy's chapter end questions (solve 200 of them) with 4 hrs duration and then analyze which knowledge areas you are poor. Pl refer back to the PMBOK for analysis/conclusion after the test.

Good luck

Did you memorize the 47 project phases so you can list them off one by one no problem? I think your score will steadily increase as you memorize the processes and ITTO. Good Luck!
