Confusion about Kick-Off Meeting and Initiating order process
Hi everyone,
I am reading Rita Book 8th edition and some questions has arised for me.
Which of these should occur first and in what order ?
1. Project Charter is approved
2. Identify Stakeholders
3. Start developing project management plan
4. Hold Kick-off meeting
Well Rita Book says Kick-Off Meeting is the last thing to happen in the Planning Process but I had read many forum topics with different opinions explaining that happens after the Project Charter is approved.
Also Rita Book says that the only process group with an order is Planning. Then came the confusion to my mind if in Initiating after the Project Charter is approved, the next thing to do is start developing the project management plan or identifying stakeholders (or Identifying stakeholders was done while developing the project charter)?

Don't understand all the
Don't understand all the questions here but for sure one HAS to identify the initial/core group of stakeholders while drafting the charter.

Thanks I understand that
Thanks I understand that part but when the after the project charter is approved by the sponsor or senior management you should start developing the project plan or you should identify stakeholders?
