Hi,
I am currently a test manager with the below responsibilities...
1. Supervising a team of 10-15 members. Includes goal setting , targets to be achieved, monitoring, guiding, and all other leadership activities
2. Estimation of test projects
3. Client interaction and status reporting
4. escalation management
5. resourcing demands and neeeds
6. Leading the test activities of a project through the SDLC life cycle.
All above in software testing area. Do I qualify for PMP? Someone please suggest.
Thanks!

I think you do qualify
from your description, I think you do qualify, however, the best way to find out is to call PMI and ask. Their phone number is toll free. If you are looking for PMP training down the road, be sure to check out http://www.examspmp.com. Good luck!

I guess the answer is YES.
I guess the answer is YES. Though only if you can classify your project leadership activities into the five process groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing. Doesn't necessarily have to cover the entire SDLC.
FYI the test lead of one of my previous teams is already a PMP so I don't think it's going to be too difficult for you.
