Passed PMP today, Sept 20. 1st try

 Hi everyone,

Just want to say how happy and relieved I am that i passed the PMP certification exam.  It was really a relief.  My scores were 2Ps and 3MPs.

I read Rita Mulcahy Prep book, PMBOK, but I think what really helped me understand is the online course from velociteach.  The videos were great that made me understand more the ITTOs and why they are really needed.  If you are going to take mock tests, I recommend that you take the PMStudy practice exams.  Worth the money!!!

 Hi Rashmi,

I don't have christopher scordo, I just used Rita Mulcahy which I purchased from amazon, PMBOK, and I enrolled in insite.velociteach.com for a one week course.  Then I just took chapter tests from Rita's book and took 2 PMStudy mock-up exams; one is for free and the other one I purchased.  For me what really helped me understand everything is the video in velociteach.  I love movies and series, and reading books that have serious educational terms makes me sleepy.  So I tried the free trial course in velociteach and see if their video is good.  I took free trial first, I liked it and I enrolled in their one week course.  The video helped me grasp things lightly because of the images and some humor in it.   The video helped me to make sense out of everything being said from
Rita's and PMBOK.  I think the combination of the three : Rita's book, PMBOK, and insite video worked for me very well.  

Don't lose hope, i think it's important to have a relaxed mind when you take the exams.  I was pretty nervous too at start, first few questions that I answered were wrong because I am not relaxed.  Good thing I had time to go back to them so I reviewed and because I was not so tensed anymore, I figured the correct answers and changed them. 

In my notes, I also made some acronyms in the ITTOs.  The notes were not perfect and I put it in the way that is understandable for me.  Will send it to you now.  Let me know if you want to clarify something.

 I couldn't clear PMP exam.  Now, that the 5th edition is already out how do you feel. Is there a lot of difference?  Need to prepare well and appear again.

Were you able to clear all problem question and network diagram questions? Do you know whether there is any weightage given to these questions?

I have started preparation but in dilemma of online course

velociteach costing more than $2000 ..any comparison with rmc - rita's website instructor led course chepaer than velociteach

Anybody any suggestions for online course ?

Looking for best one ..not just narration from PMBOK
