Passed on the 30th - first attempt 

Been a silent observer of PMZilla so think I should contribute at least after passing .

How I prepared -

 Total PrepTime : 5 Weeks

Books / Material : Pmbok, Rita, Brainbok Flashcards

Practise Tests and Scores:

Scordo test 15-18 About 78%

HeadFirst : 78%

Oliver Lehmann 175 Qs: 73.6%

ExamCentral 2 tests:  80%

Simplilearn : 64%(was the first test I took!)

PmpForSure: 100 Qs 76%

Focus Areas Based on the actual exam:

 - T& T - I memorized all using memory trick ( will try to scan the memory dump sheet for ref)

 And it helped in the real PMP

Also, understand exactly what happens in each TT .NOt just memorize! 

understand diss bw brainstorming , benchmarking , nominal group, delphi , analogoua, parametric, sensitivity , monte carlo, decomposition.......etc 

- Input /Output : I tried to logically understand but found it dificult to cram .In the actual exam , I think it's not 

needed to memorize !

- Calculations : CPI , SPI , one on TCPI, Variace (BAC - EaC), Network Diagram , EAC

- Risk Mitigation

- FSNPA (forming ,storming ,,,,,,)

- Type of Procurement

- Close process/procurement steps ...

- whats in project charter Vs Scope Statement Vs Rbuirement dcs Vs PMP

- Understand that PMP is ref fr comparison 

- Understand the prcess of Change Management /ICC - what happens when someone asks for a change 

    analyse the impact , generate options , raise CC , if accepted rebaseline etc .....

WHAT I WOULD DO DiFFERENTLY IN PREP :

Perhaps only read PMBOk few times more, instd of reading other books (dependig on how much time you have for prep). 

Exam is worded as is in the pmbok . so helps if you are more conversant with pmbok ! 

It is bot a very difficult exam . If you know exactky what and how to study , can do it in 2-3 weeks .
