Hello Folks,

I passed my PMP today.Excited and happy!!

I thank all the PMZILLA members for all the valuable tips and tricks/resources.

My prep time has been 1 month and more serious 2 weeks.

Resources: Rita PMP book, PMBOK Guide,Headfirst, PMZILLA notes /tips

Mock exams : PMPStudy , Headfirst  --- Scoring around 65 to 75 %

PMP flash cards and some of the mobile apps (Highly  recommend)

Prep Time: 2 hours every day for 2 weeks.

I took this as a challenge as i have always postponed taking the exam inspite of registering for the same last year.Some reason or the other would stop me from scheduling the appointmeent and showing up.

I have gone thru Rita PMP book in detail atleast 3 times and i strongly recommend the same.

Headfirst once and PMBOK guide just for a few concepts here and there.

The exam i must say was tough, may be i felt that because my prep time was limited.

The questions were tricky and no way similar to any of the mock exams i had taken so far.Mock exams i could finish off in a 3 hour period and the real one i really had to scramble to finish it all up.

The questions were truly testing based on situation and experience rather than knowledge is what i felt.

For all those who may be demotivated with the mock exams, dont worry too much.As long as you grasp the fundamental concepts, you are good.All you need to do is go and apply the same.

Its a great feeling and a sense of acheivement similar to the one after school exams(long time ago).
