Passed PMP Exam

Dear Friends,

I had cleared my PMP exam in my first attempt in 27-Jun-13. I would like to thank everybody for your valuable comments, study materials and Tips for passing the examination in this website.

I had started my PMP preparation works in May-12, However due to my work load I am not able to concentrate on my studies and I was keep on postponing my Exam dates. I also understand from PMI that Exam pattern is going to changed in July-13. So I had decided to attempt my PMP in March-13. From that time I had read only PM book, Rita PMP Prep and the valuable note from Mr. Anil Choudry, Mr. Rajesh Nair through this website. It was very useful for me and I was only reading this notes for last 1 week.

Now I am very happy to clear this big task. However I would like to ask the following questions for my further career advancement.

1) I would like to know the approximate percentage of marks scored in the exam for 3 Moderately proficient and 2 Proficient. (i.e) Initiation - P, Planning - P, Execution - MP, M&C - MP, Closing - MP

2) I would like to undergo further certification. So what will be the suitable course...I am working as a Project Control Engineer for last 6 years. I am planning for CCE...from AACE

3) How about the increase in Job Oppurtunities for PMP certified Engineers?...I am looking for a change in my career? Is there any specific websites or company available where we can get more job oppurtunities for PMP?

4) How to pass our comments in PM book to PMI for consideration in next edition?

Thanks in Advance

Regards

Dear Vadivelan

I am also thinking of CCE from AACE.  I have just glanced through website couple  of days back.

Interested in attempting it. Content seems to be quite challenging.

The other alternative is obtaining Membership from RICS which also commands respect.

my email id is bhavesh.thakkar@gammonindia.com

if you can throw some light it would be helpful on any of the above
