Hi,

It is mandatory that PMI menmbership shuold be active for giving the exam.

 

Actually My PMi membership got expired after scheduling the exam date.

 

Kindly let me know. My exam date is 28/02/2015.

Any Exam or Credentials Activity from PMI has nothing to do with PMI membership. PMI membership is just for your benefit i.e. you get discount for various PMI fees and also you can access PMI eBooks. You can try 3 attempts to pass the PMP exam by/before the exam eligibility date. Anyone who is non PMI members can also give the PMP exam, Renew the certification etc.

Oh yes, you can read some summary of PMBOK if you have made or get some small notes that gives you quick recap. Take good mock tests and concentrate more on the gaps. That's all. Good luck!

Hi Akash,

It's better to renew your PMI Membership before going to pay the exam fee, Because you need to pay less fee if you are a member. All the best for your PMP exam.

I need one clarification that how much time PMI will take to update or announce that I passed my exam.

 

 

I have only promteric letter with me only till time.

PMI is a very professional institute and they communicate as per their policy. They work from monday-friday only. To your question:

  • Within 7 days PMI registry will have your name provided you did not tell them not to publish your name. They also send you email for the same in 2-3 working days after you pass the exam.
  • Within 4-6 weeks you will get PMP certificate at your address by courier.
