I have spent close to 5 months preparing for the  PMP Exam.

I started with the PMBOK guide - I have found it very boring and dry...but it's important to read high level atleast one time ( it takes around 3 to 4 weeks ).

Later I bought Rita & other books ( headfirst ) to understand the concepts ( 4 to 8 weeks ).

After that I have started taking mock exams ( scoring around 50% - 60% ) - now I started to see my real gaps ( applying your knowledge to the exam context is the key ) 

Knowing your gaps and filling them is very critical for passing this exam! - I wanted a customized one-to-one coaching for the same - took coaching for the same from pmpexamcoaching.com for few weeks to identify and fill my gaps.

Took my final mock exams from pmstudy.com and started scoring beyond 80% ( now I am confidant and ready for the exam )
